Who is Velocity Lee's Summit?
Velocity LS is a non-profit based in Lee’s Summit, Missouri dedicated to assisting entrepreneurs grow their companies through many available resources including an annual mentorship program, networking events, educational presentations and more.
The VLS Mentorship Program
Every year dozens of businesses in the Lee’s Summit and surrounding communities apply to be part of the Velocity LS Mentorship program. This annual program pairs local startup entrepreneurs with other successful mentors.
Mentors provide mentees with advice, guidance and resources. Throughout the year-long program, mentees are invited to pitch for capital at several Velocity LS events.
The VLS Mentorship program has an incredible amount of successful mentee alumni who continue to return to the program as both mentors and resources for other local startups.
